Ignatia

St Ignatia's bean

Small shrub or tree grown in the Phillippines or China. Fruit is the size and shape of pears.
Seeds are one inch long and very bitter: they contain strychnine.


Ignatia is feminine, perverse, changeable, restless, artistic, highly-strung.

SORE THROAT: Empty swallowing more painful than eating solid food.

After any emotional upset: sensation of lump in throat as if being strangled, better for swallowing; the lump comes back after swallowing.

Worse for fresh air; over-sensitive to coffee and tobacco smoke.

After punishment; humiliation; sore throat; tummy ache; or insomnia in sensitive children.

Homesick
